Kansas City native, Daniel Owen started Tune The World out Radio show in 2007. The show's title was inspired by his love of putting headphones on and "tuning the world out." Owen is a fan of all music and prides himself on playing local Midwest bands and artists of varying genres like the Republic Tigers, Storyline and KC's own Beautiful Bodies. He has booked interviews with artists including The Jox and One Star Story and appeals to listeners through give-aways and contests
